MEDIA ADVISORY - Cancer Quality Council of Ontario to present the 2014 results of the Cancer System Quality Index

TORONTO, June 23, 2014 /CNW/ - On Tuesday June 24, 2014, the Cancer Quality Council of Ontario (CQCO) will release the results of the tenth Cancer System Quality Index (CSQI), a web-based quality improvement tool that measures the performance of the cancer system in Ontario. The CQCO is an advisory group that guides Cancer Care Ontario and the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care in their efforts to improve the quality of cancer care in the province.  Virginia McLaughlin, Chair of the CQCO will present the results of the CSQI and will be available, along with Michael Sherar, President and CEO, Cancer Care Ontario, and Lillian Clarke, Cancer Survivor, afterwards for questions.
