Media Advisory - CAW to Provide Update on Ford Negotiations Today

TORONTO , Oct. 30 /CNW/ - CAW President Ken Lewenza will provide an update on the union's negotiations with Ford Motor Company at a press conference this afternoon at approximately 3:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Centre hotel downtown in Toronto .

The union has been in intensive negotiations with Ford since Monday when formal talks resumed. The goal of the negotiations is to reach an agreement similar to the deals reached with both General Motors and Chrysler this past spring.
