TORONTO, Oct. 28, 2014 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join CBC/Radio-Canada President Hubert T. Lacroix today at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre for a special announcement regarding sports on the network. Lacroix will be making the announcement at 12 p.m. ET in the Barbara Frum Atrium at 250 Front St. W. The announcement will be followed by media availability and a technical briefing with Jeffrey Orridge, executive director, sports properties and general manager, Olympics, CBC; Neil McEneaney, Chief Business Officer for Business and Operations, CBC; François Messier, general manager, productions, Radio-Canada; and representatives from Bell and Rogers.
