Media Advisory - Celebrate with us as we open Toronto's 100th library branch!

TORONTO, May 19, 2015 /CNW/ - We are thrilled to announce the opening of Scarborough Civic Centre branch on Wednesday, May 20th at 10 a.m.

Media are invited to attend the official opening ceremony at 10 a.m. for a lively celebration including dancing, steel pans and spoken word. City Librarian Vickery Bowles, Toronto Public Library Board Chair Ron Carinci and Branch Head Trina Preece will be among those participating in the official ribbon cutting.

The branch is located at 156 Borough Drive, near the Scarborough Centre TTC station and immediately south of the Scarborough Civic Centre.
