Media Advisory - Celebrate with us as we open Toronto's 100th library branch!
TORONTO, May 20, 2015 /CNW/ - Join us today as we celebrate the opening of Scarborough Civic Centre branch at 10 a.m.
Customers will be led into the library at 10am by a Chinese lion dance. Media are invited to attend the official opening ceremony for a lively celebration including dancing, steel pans and spoken word. City Librarian Vickery Bowles, Toronto Public Library Board Chair Ron Carinci and Branch Head Trina Preece will be among those participating in the official ribbon cutting.

The branch is located at 156 Borough Drive, near the Scarborough Centre TTC station and immediately south of the Scarborough Civic Centre.
