Media Advisory - Celebration of the Right to Know Week

OTTAWA , Sept. 30 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada is joining countries around the world to celebrate the Right to Know Week from September 28 to October 2, 2009 .

The Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada has organized an International Panel under the theme 'ATI without Frontiers:' International Perspectives on Access to Information. Benefiting from the experience of world-renowned experts, this panel will assess freedom of information globally and examine current initiatives and obstacles to promoting greater access to official information held by national and international institutions.
