CALGARY, March 4, 2015 /CNW/ - With the NHL trade deadline in the past and playoffs quickly approaching, it's an extremely exciting and nerve-racking time for hockey fans. One 11-year-old hockey enthusiast, however, is feeling the anticipation more than anyone, as he gets ready to experience the excitement first-hand, in LA with his favorite team, the defending Stanley Cup Champions – LA Kings.
In 2007, Joshua Breeze was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a life threatening disorder that causes severe damage to the lungs and digestive system. On Mar.5, Children's Wish will grant Josh's most heartfelt wish, when he heads to LA on the hockey adventure of a lifetime. Josh will watch the Kings and Penguins go head-to-head at the STAPLES Center, will meet his favorite players before the game and will experience a number of other surprises throughout his trip.
