MEDIA ADVISORY - China's Xiamen Airlines to land inaugural flight at YVR; first time to North America

RICHMOND, BC, July 25, 2016 /CNW/ - Join YVR on Monday evening, July 25, for celebrations welcoming Xiamen Airlines service to Vancouver from Xiamen, China. It will be the first time the airline has landed in North America with its distinctive blue and white tail. YVR will provide media with a unique, runway-side photo opportunity to capture the landing, before an image-rich media event with cultural performances, followed by speeches from airport, government, tourism and airline officials.

Parking: |
Park in the short-term parkade on level 2 or 3. Parking passes will be available at the media registration table. |

The airside component has limited access due to security restrictions. Media wishing to attend must RSVP with name, outlet and driver's licence number by Monday, July 25 at 1 p.m. to [email protected]. |

All media representatives must bring valid (not expired), government-issued photo ID to access the airfield. |
