TORONTO, Aug. 1, 2017 /CNW/ - CIHR's Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health will host a panel discussion on issues related to breastfeeding and the benefits for babies and their mothers in recognition of World Breastfeeding Week, an annual awareness campaign coordinated by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action.
The panel will be hosted by national TV personality Cynthia Loyst. The participants will include:
- Dr. Shoo Lee, CIHR Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health, and Mount Sinai Hospital, part of the Sinai Health System
- Dr. Sharon Unger, Mount Sinai Hospital
- Dr. Deborah O'Connor, Hospital for Sick Children
- Dr. Meghan Azad, Child Health Research Institute of Manitoba
- Dr. Catherine Pound, Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario
- Ms. Claire Kerr-Zlobin, Life with a Baby
The participants will be available to answer questions from the media following the panel.
