Media Advisory - CIRI British Columbia Seminar - Diversify Your Shareholder Base

TORONTO, Sept. 26, 2013 /CNW/ - Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) British Columbia Chapter, will be providing a seminar on Friday September 27, 2013 which provides Investor Relations Officers with a discussion on how private portfolio managers evaluate new and existing business opportunities in today's market, and what IROs can do to get on the radar screens of private investors.

Geoff Castle is Manager, Group Investments with Kestrel Holdings Ltd. He is also President of Vancouver-based Merlin Pacific Capital Corp, a private investment institution, and jointly oversees the investment portfolio of the Sitka Foundation which supports environmental causes. Mr. Castle has been a professional investor for over a dozen years and invests in public securities as well as in a number of private early-stage Canadian businesses. He is the founder and chairman of the Association of Vancouver Investors.

This seminar will also be webcast live.
