MONTRÉAL, June 27, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - On July 5th, for the third year in a row, Chartwell, résidences pour retraités is organizing a beach party like no other at the biggest outdoor complex in North America, the Beachclub in Pointe-Calumet.
Close to 700 active seniors over the age of 70 from 27 Chartwell residences in Québec and Ontario are expected to show up for a day under the sun, making it the biggest seniors' gathering of its kind in Québec.
Sébastien Chartier, general manager of Chartwell L'Unique in Saint-Eustache and the event organizer, is pleased to repeat the experience; the annual beach party has only gotten bigger and is a perfect fit with the "Making People's Lives Better" mission of Chartwell.
Joël Denis's FORMIDABLE show… GUESTS GET TO SEE IT FIRST!
The beach party will feature the musical performance of Joël Denis, who will give guests a taste of his upcoming show, Formidable, which will only be made available to the general public until September 2018.
Joël Denis is fantastic! Captivating audiences is second nature to him, and he feels right at home when on stage. He is a one-man musical sensation, and his many talents will be on full display. The show is well put together, with rousing songs, comedic elements and an exuberant style reminiscent of the music-hall and vaudeville era.
"It's incredible for us to be the Beachclub's partner for a third time and to have the multi-talented Joël Denis entertain our guests," says Sébastien Chartier. "Last year, around this time, nearly 500 residents came to the event to have a good time. We got such positive feedback that we just had to bring it back again for a third year."
