HALIFAX, April 24, 2018 /CNW/ - Members from the media are invited to attend an event hosted by the Halifax Chamber of Commerce.
CMHC's President and CEO, Evan Siddall, will speak about the linkages between housing, personal savings and wealth, and how banking on ever-rising housing prices could undermine Canada's broader economic stability and well-being. Set within the context of historical long-term house price gains and intergenerational wealth differences, Mr. Siddall will also speak about the National Housing Strategy's role in stimulating housing supply, getting better data and crafting housing policy that works for Canadians.
