Media advisory - CN employees and hockey legends face off to raise funds for

MONTREAL , Nov. 5 /CNW Telbec/ - Assignment editors are asked to put this exciting, fund-raising event on their assignment calendar for Sunday, November 8 . From 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. , the hockey legends will be "warming up" on the ice, and will available for interviews and photo opportunities. The CN Hockey Legends Challenge starts at 2:30 p.m. at 11212 Garon Street in Montreal North, at the Garon Arena.

Proceeds from the event will benefit charitable organizations supported by the CN Employee's and Pensioner's Community Fund: including, The Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation, The Marie-Vincent Foundation and the Ted Nolan Foundation. Approximately $250,000 has been raised to date.

Watch CN's own hockey team, coached by Ted Nolan , battle Richard Sévigny, Patrice Brisebois, Enrico Ciccone, André Dupont, Karl Dykhuis, Gaston Gingras , Larry Robinson , Gilbert Delorme , Normand Dupont , Guy Lafleur , Yvon Lambert, Sergio Momesso and Stephane Richer .
