Media Advisory - CNSA speaks out against issues regarding the Canadian developed nursing entry to practice exam
SASKATOON, Jan. 28, 2012 /CNW/ - The Canadian Nursing Students' Association (CNSA) is alarmed by the decision of Canadian registered nurse (RN) regulators to endorse the American‐based National Council of State Boards of Nursing (BCSBN) for the purpose of developing a new Canadian RN entry exam. We deem it vital for Canadian nursing students to procure a Canadian developed RN entry to practice exam.
As the national voice for nursing students across Canada, we want to speak up on behalf of the concerns of nursing students across the country. We wish to protect and promote the high quality standards that encompass Canadian health care values, beliefs, issues, culture, and context.
