WHY:		About 300 participants from across Canada, members of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union, are meeting at the Delta from June 20-22 for the CEP National Women's Conference to strategize on how to protect and advance the rights of women in the face of the Harper Government's increasing attacks on women's rights in the workplace, the home and the community.
		"The Harper Government's policies are taking women back to the 'barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen' days," says CEP Women's Committee Chair Jennifer Britton.
