Commissioner Cavoukian and the Ontario Public Service to unveil new project to fortify privacy protection practices
TORONTO, April 11, 2013 /CNW/ - In an ever-changing world of new technologies, the right to privacy and its protection is more important than ever. Ontario's Information and Privacy Commissioner, Dr. Ann Cavoukian, and the Ministry of Government Services, are working together to ensure Ontario is implementing the strongest privacy practices and providing world-leading service excellence. Next Monday, the Commissioner will announce the creation of a new initiative as part of her keynote speech kicking off a day-long Ontario Public Service training event.
