MEDIA ADVISORY - Commissioner Cavoukian to release 2012 Annual Report at Queen's Park News Conference on May 28, 2013

Annual Report will commemorate 25 years of the Office of Information and Privacy Commissioner

TORONTO, May 24, 2013 /CNW/ - Ontario's Information and Privacy Commissioner, Dr. Ann Cavoukian, will hold a news conference next Tuesday to release her 2012 Annual Report. Copies of the report, news release and the adjunct statistical document will be available in hard copy and electronically. The adjunct statistical publication will contain information regarding individual compliance rates (speed of response for FOI requests) of municipalities, police services, school boards, etc., or other statistics related to a specific region, community or institution type.

Distribution details include:

• A news release will be distributed across Ontario via CNW at 9:30 a.m. on May 28.
• The Annual Report, news release and an adjunct statistical document will be available on the Commissioner's website at 10:00 a.m. (www.ipc.on.ca), along with additional supporting resources.
• Copies of the Annual Report, the news release and the adjunct statistical document will be hand delivered to the Queen's Park Press Gallery at 10:00 a.m. Or, you can email Trell Huether ([email protected]) prior to May 28 and request that the Annual Report documents be emailed directly to you on May 28.
