Competition Bureau focuses on subscription traps and free trial scams during the fourth annual "2 Good 2 B True Day"
OTTAWA, March 4, 2016 /CNW/ - The Competition Bureau and its Fraud Prevention Forum partners are joining together to mark the fourth annual "2 Good 2 B True Day" at 12:00 p.m. on March 8, 2016, to provide consumers with information and tips on how to avoid becoming the victims of subscription traps and free trial scams, as well as other types of common scams.
Bureau experts (@CompBureau) will be online to help spread the word on how Canadians can avoid becoming victims of fraud. Join the conversation by using the #2G2BT hashtag and ask questions and share your experiences. The Bureau and its partners will be using the #2G2BT and #FPM2016 hashtag to share information on how to recognize, reject and report fraud.
