Media Advisory - Construction commences on new Musi-Café in Lac-Mégantic - Community begins rebuilding process after 2013 tragedy

MONTREAL, May 8, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Media is cordially invited to attend the installation of the first steel beams for the building that will house the new Musi-Café in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec. The event marks the beginning of the town's rebuilding process after the July 6, 2013 tragedy.

Attending the event will be Colette Roy Laroche, Lac-Mégantic mayor, Yannick Gagné, Musi-Café owner and Marc A. Bovet, BONE Structure founding president, as well as several other guests and project partners, on Tuesday, May 13 at 1:30 pm, in Lac-Mégantic's new downtown core.

Guests will also have the opportunity to make a symbolic gesture in remembrance of those who died in the tragedy on July 6 last year and show their support for the Lac-Mégantic community by writing a personal message on one of the building's beams.

Established in March 2002 by Yannick Gagné, the Musi-Café restaurant and bar in Lac-Mégantic quickly acquired a reputation as the place for cultural and social gatherings in the region.
