WINDSOR, ON, April 13, 2018 /CNW/ - The public is invited to an important community forum Tuesday night about the future health care needs of our community. Topics for discussion include gaps in patient care and the construction of a controversial mega-hospital outside downtown Windsor.
Despite widespread opposition to the site location and the adverse impact on access to care to those living in Windsor's core and west end, the $2 billion hospital project is going ahead.
Five community organizations* with a commitment to public health care delivery are sponsoring Tuesday's forum, which is intended to spur new dialogue about a more responsible and representative plan for health care in Windsor.
