An unwavering support for the Pride Parade

MONTREAL, Aug. 17, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - The Montréal Pride Festival will host, at its 12th edition, many public figures during its parade on Sunday, August 19th. Indeed, public and political figures, including the Right Honorable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, Philippe Couillard, Premier of Québec, and the Mayor of Montréal, Valérie Plante, responded in large numbers to our invitation to join communities of sexual and gender diversity. Their involvement demonstrates their solidarity with the social acceptance of communities, the advancement of trans rights and the inclusion of LGBTQ + ethnic and socio-cultural communities.

11:30 am	Media Arrival: For security reasons, it is important that the media be present no later than 11:30 am for a security sweep in Room 6, 3rd Floor
11:45 am	Arrival of the guests
	Landing: Note that René-Lévesque Boulevard will be closed at 8:45 am Access to vehicles will be limited and will be from Stanley Street southbound. Parking will be available for the media in the alley behind the hotel.
12:15 pm	Press conference
12:58 pm	Official photo on the starting line of the parade
13:00 pm	Departure of the parade (moment of silence at 2:30 pm)

The parade will begin on Sunday, August 19, at 1 pm, on René-Lévesque Boulevard at the corner of Metcalfe Street and head east to Alexandre-DeSève Street.
