OTTAWA and GATINEAU, QC, May 28, 2018 /CNW/ - On Thursday, May 31, 2018, a media lock-up will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) when the Commission will release a digital report on future distribution models for programming in Canada.
During the lock-up the digital report will be presented and experts will be available for media questions.
Shortly after 11:00 a.m., when the report is released, the Chairman of the CRTC will grant one-on-one interviews which will be pre-scheduled and agreed upon availability.
Any parties interested in attending the lock-up are asked to contact Media Relations at 819-997-9403 or [email protected] by 5 p.m. on May 30.
No one will be permitted to leave the lock-up before 11:00 a.m. Cellphones, smartphones, wireless handheld devices etc., must be left with the CRTC staff in the room. Laptops will be permitted during the lock-up. Local Wi-Fi will be available between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Full Internet access will be available at 11:00 a.m.
