BURNABY, BC, April 10, 2018 /CNW/ - Preparations are well underway for CUPE BC's 55th annual convention, which begins Wednesday, April 18 and continues until Saturday, April 21 at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver.
Speakers at this year's convention include Colombian human rights activist Berenice Celeyta, whose work is assisted by support from CUPE BC and other unions through Co-Development Canada.
Premier John Horgan will deliver a keynote address on Friday afternoon.
