MEDIA ADVISORY - Current and Past Patients Available for Comment on One-Year Anniversary of Ontario's In Vitro (IVF) Health Funding Announcement
TORONTO, April 10, 2015 /CNW/ - Conceivable Dreams, The OHIP for IVF Coalition, has members available to speak about the Ontario government's pledge, made one year ago today, to help the 1 in 6 infertile couples across the province afford their first round of in vitro (IVF) treatments.
Members of Conceivable Dreams – and many families across Ontario – are eagerly anticipating the details of the province's IVF funding model and the Advisory Panel's recommendations on eligibility criteria.
The government has established a panel of expert advisors that includes clinicians and patients. The province has committed that the panel's work would be complete in time for funding to be in place prior to the end of the 2015 calendar year. Conceivable Dreams looks forward to the government implementing the program in 2015 as committed.
Members on hand for comment are current and past patients of IVF treatments, as well as clinicians, and represent a number of communities across the province.
