Media Advisory - Cybersecurity and the Human Factor: Why Technology Alone is not Sufficient
OTTAWA, Feb. 3, 2016 /CNW/ - Are organizations focusing too much on technology and not enough on the people side of cyber security? While cyber security tools are necessary, they can be insufficient obstacle on their own to prevent cyber attacks. To increase security, organizations need to devote resources to the people side of cyber security—to training, education, testing, and organizational culture.
The Conference Board of Canada's Cyber Security: The Human Factor conference will bring together public and private sector experts to discuss the role of people and culture in cyber security and how you can leverage the human factor and turn it into a cyber security asset.
