    WHAT:     Hunger Count 2009 is Food Banks Canada's annual report on
              poverty and hunger in Canada that is being released today. Gail
              Nyberg, Executive Director at Daily Bread Food Bank, is
              available to speak on Hunger Count 2009 from a Toronto
              perspective. Ontario has seen an increase in food bank use of
              19%, which accurately reflects the numbers that Daily Bread
              Food Bank has seen when it comes to increased client visits to
              the 171 member agencies across Toronto. Unemployment continues
              to affect citizens across Canada as well as locally.
