ST. JOHN'S, July 16, 2012 /CNW/ - Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) is advising the media that it is holding its Annual General Meeting at the Sheraton Hotel in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, on July 17 and 18, 2012.
The meeting starts at 1 pm on July 17. DFC President Wally Smith will speak and there will be updates on marketing activities. On July 18, the guest speakers will address their topics under the theme "Dairy Farming for Tomorrow".

1. | The impact of the social media on your farm -Andrew Campbell, Fresh Air Media - Campbell is a dairy farmer and social media enthusiast. He has given talks to several farm groups about the presence of farmers on social media. | |
2. | David Homer, dairy farmer (UK) is one of the "elite" farmers who have successfully implemented standards of the Red Tractor program and other measurement demands by buyers. | |
3. | A presentation on the Canadian Biosecurity Standard by DFC and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency | |
