Media Advisory - Darlington Energy Complex Tour

TORONTO, Jan. 21, 2013 /CNW/ - Ontario Power Generation (OPG) will be conducting a media tour of the substantially completed Darlington Energy Complex located in the Clarington Energy Park.  Ontario Energy Minister Chris Bentley will be in attendance.

When:   Jan. 21, 2013
Time:    10:45 a.m.
Where:  Darlington Energy Complex in the Clarington Energy Park

From the west:  Take Hwy 401 east (past Oshawa) to Courtice Road (exit #425). At the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp, travel straight ahead onto South Service Road.

From the east:  Take Hwy 401 west (past Bowmanville) to Courtice Road (exit #425). At the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp, turn left (travel under the Hwy), then turn left onto South Service Road.

Then, follow the South Service Road to Osborne Road (first road on the right). Turn right.

Follow Osborne Road towards Lake Ontario.  You will see the DEC on the left hand side.  Turn left onto Energy Park Drive (north side of DEC). DEC parking lot entrance is on east side. Meet at the large doors on the north east corner of the DEC.
