MEDIA ADVISORY - DesignMeets: The Future of Aging
TORONTO, June 25, 2018 /CNW/ - Thanks to modern medicine, Canadians are living longer than ever before. According to Statistics Canada, there are more Canadians over the age of 65 than those aged 14 and younger. It's estimated that by 2030, one in four Canadians will be a senior citizen – the silver Tsunami. All of us will be in that age group at some point . . . how do YOU want to age?
Do you want services and spaces that have been adapted to meet the needs of older people, so you can continue to be an active member of society? Be part of a Canada that ensures everyone, including older adults, can access the right tools, services, programs and care to help us live healthy and engaged lives?
Journalists are invited to come and hear from people who are transforming the way we design, deliver and experience healthcare at DesignMeets: The Future of Aging – in collaboration with Pivot Design, SE Health and Bridgepoint.
