The board matching program will further its reach among women, the LGBTQ+ communities, and indigenous peoples
TORONTO, Nov. 2, 2016 /CNW/ - On November 7, join DiverseCity onBoard at Ryerson University for an evening of celebration, marking the expansion of its board matching services to include all groups currently underrepresented on governance boards in the not-for-profit and public sectors.
This event will celebrate DiverseCity onBoard's new affiliation with The Chang School at Ryerson, a special announcement from TD Bank Group, and will feature a panel discussion with:
- Marie Bountrogianni, Dean, The Chang School
- Timothy Rose, Founder, Positive Disability Consulting
- Colin Druhan, Executive Director, Pride at Work
- Naki Osutei, Board Member, Seneca College
- Julia Hanigsberg, President & CEO, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital
- Judy A. White, CEO, Assembly of First Nations
This panel will be moderated by The Honourable Ratna Omidvar, Distinguished Visiting Professor and Founder of the Global Diversity Exchange (GDX).
