Media Advisory - Does Canada offer a competitive environment where FinTech innovation can flourish? Français
OTTAWA, Feb. 14, 2017 /CNW/ - Media are invited to attend a workshop on competition and FinTech innovation on Tuesday February 21, 2017. During the workshop, the FinTech community — including Canadian start‑ups, banks, provincial and federal regulators, and international experts — will be asked to examine the connections between competition, innovation and regulation, as they plan for the future. A key question to be addressed is whether Canada offers a competitive environment where FinTech innovation can flourish.
Results from the forum will help shape the Competition Bureau's market study on technology-driven innovation in the financial services industry.
