MEDIA ADVISORY - Donate gently used clothes to The Yonge Street Mission

TORONTO, Jan. 14, 2015 /CNW/ -

WHAT:	The Yonge Street Mission's 17^TH Annual Clothing Drive launches on Monday, January 19^th in Toronto's PATH.  More than 6,000 bags of clothing are collected each year.
WHEN:	Monday, January 19 to Friday, January 23, 2015
WHERE:	There are 18 locations throughout the PATH for dropping off gently used clothing. (Locations are listed below.)
WHY:	The Clothing Drive supports Double Take, The Yonge Street Mission's thrift store. Double Take supports the community in three ways:
	Provides first time employment experience to community members.
	Provides gently used, high quality clothing at affordable prices to the community.
	Through vouchers provided by The Yonge Street Mission's programs, low income individuals and families, and street-involved youth are able to shop with dignity for clothing. Thanks to the high quality professional clothing donated by business people working in the downtown office towers, many individuals are able to find clothing for jobs and job interviews.
