Media Advisory - Dskate Summer Camp Offers Once-in-a-lifetime Experience for Children Living with Diabetes
TORONTO, July 23, 2018 /CNW/ - The Dskate Hockey Program kicks off their annual Hockey Camp program in Toronto, Ontario on Monday, July 23, 2018 – a hockey program offering a safe and secure environment for Type 1 Diabetes hockey players and their families. The goal of the program is to help young athletes achieve a greater quality-of-life, while discovering their limitless potential to succeed. Each year, the camp offers hockey skills training for children with diabetes, along with diabetes management education with a goal to develop empowered and excited kids. Dskate prides itself on providing their players and families with an unparalleled experience.

- Dr. Michael Riddell, Senior Scientist at LMC Diabetes & Endocrinology and Professor in the School of Kinesiology & Health Science and the Muscle Health Research Centre at York University.
