The 5th Biennial Conference of the International Association for Ecology & Health Co-Hosted by Cinbiose and CoPEH-Canada/UQAM, Canada
How do we mobilize knowledge to benefit health, ecosystems, and society?
What innovations have been made in theory, methods, and practice in the field?
MONTREAL, Aug. 8, 2014 /CNW/ - IDRC is a proud sponsor of the international Ecohealth 2014 conference that will be held from August 11 to 15, 2014, at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Montréal. This event is designed to provide a platform for a discussion of ecosystem approaches to human health, evidence from the field, and the relevance of these approaches to improving health and well-being.
This year's theme, "Connections for health, ecosystems and society," reinforces the importance of connections and learning among the various approaches and perspectives that reflect the diversity of the field. The conference will allow ecohealth researchers and practitioners from around the world to network and build new relationships.
With a history in ecohealth that spans almost two decades, IDRC will be actively involved in the events of the conference.
