EDMONTON, Aug. 16, 2018 /CNW/ - Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, in partnership with the Edmonton Eskimos and the Canadian Football League (CFL) will host a special citizenship ceremony at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton and will welcome 50 new citizens.
This citizenship ceremony will be the first of 3 ceremonies hosted by the CFL in celebration of the league's Diversity is Strength campaign. Other special citizenship ceremonies will be hosted by the Montréal Alouettes, on August 24, and by the British Columbia Lions, on August 25.
