Sarah's 6th Annual Food Drive challenges youth to give back

WHAT: | Sarah's 6th Annual Food Drive. Sarah might only be eleven, but this already her sixth year running a food drive supporting Daily Bread. Last year, Sarah's Food Drive raised over 21,000 pounds of food. This year, the food drive has expanded to include six local primary schools and a goal of 24,000 pounds by October 9. |
Long-time supporter Rob Tremblett will be hosting Sarah, her seven-year-old sister Claire as well as their friends at a community drive in the parking lot of Tremblett's valu-mart. Sarah and Claire are inviting neighbours and all of the community to come out to donate and make a difference. Sarah and her friends will also be packing Thanksgiving hampers along with Daily Bread's executive director Gail Nyberg. | |
