TORONTO, July 9, 2012 /CNW/ - The deadline to enter the Corporate Reporting Awards, presented annually by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA), is being extended to July 20, 2012.
For more than sixty years, the awards have recognized the best reporting models in the country. The program reflects the commitment of Canada's CAs to enhancing the quality of corporate and financial reporting. Publicly listed companies and Crown corporations at both the federal and provincial levels will be honoured.
The awards program does more than recognize winning efforts; it also provides an excellent platform from which to learn. Each participant receives valuable written feedback from the expert judges about its entry. Review of the winning models combined with feedback on its own entry can help an organization make a strong reporting effort even better.
Instructions on the simple entry process can be found online (www.cica.ca/cra).
The 2012 Corporate Reporting Awards are sponsored by Ernst & Young, PwC, Toronto Stock Exchange, RR Donnelley, Listed Magazine and The Streaming Network.
