TESTING AND FULL PROVINCIAL REPORTS
TORONTO, Sept. 14 /CNW/ - At 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) will release student achievement results by school and school board for the 2009-2010 Assessments of Reading, Writing and Mathematics, Primary Division (Grades 1-3) and Junior Division (Grades 4-6), and the Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics. Schools and boards will be able to speak about their individual results at this time.
EQAO will also release two full provincial reports: an elementary school report on the results of the primary- and junior-division assessments and a secondary school report on the results of the Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics and the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test. These reports include subgroup and contextual data, a summary of findings, strategies for success and profiles of schools that are using provincial assessment results to support their own improvement planning. These schools are notable for their demonstration of leadership, data-driven strategies and whole-school approaches to help every child succeed.
The reports and school, school board and provincial results will be posted on EQAO's Web site, www.eqao.com.
