Media Advisory - EVENT/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: CIBC Celebration of Hope Celebrates its 25th Year
MARKHAM, ON, Oct. 25, 2013 /CNW/ - Each year nearly one thousand people gather at a fundraising luncheon like no other. Both heartwarming and informative, the CIBC Celebration of Hope brings together people committed to helping beat cancer, including those affected by cancer, community dignitaries, high-profile celebrities and Hope Award recipients, and all in support of cancer care at Markham Stouffville Hospital. CIBC has returned as the Title Sponsor, and over the past seven years $2 million has been raised in the fight against cancer.
The 25th Annual CIBC Celebration of Hope will take place on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa (8500 Warden Ave., Markham). From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests can enjoy two floors of fabulous boutique shopping. This year's "silver" themed luncheon, emceed by CHFI Morning Show host Erin Davis, begins at 12:30 p.m. and runs until 3:00 p.m. The celebration features live entertainment, a Franco Mirabelli fashion show, entertainment by Toronto's sought-after soulful vocalists, Quisha Wint, a performance by dancers from So You Think You Can Dance Canada, live and silent auctions, fabulous food and numerous draw prizes including the Raffle of Hope Grand Prize — a 2013 BMW 128i Cabriolet, generously donated by Town+Country BMW.
