Media Advisory - Faculty and Student Groups to Announce Campaign to Save ESL Programs in BC
VANCOUVER, Dec. 16, 2013 /CNW/ - Representatives from the Federation of Post-Secondary Educators (FPSE), the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS BC) and the Vancouver Community College Faculty Association will hold a press briefing on plans to launch provincial campaign to save English Language Training programs. Saeideh Ghassarifar is a health care professional from Iran who is working to have her foreign credential recognized in BC and is studying at Vancouver Community College. The loss of ESL programs would adversely affect her education plans.
