Media Advisory - Fairness Express Bus Tour in Toronto for OPSEU Convention
TORONTO, May 8, 2014 /CNW/ - The Fairness Express Tour is a grassroots campaign spearheaded by the National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE) that will be visiting cities and towns across Ontario from May 3 to June 20. The object of the campaign is to foster local discussions about growing income inequality and related issues in Ontario and Canada.
The Fairness Express will be in downtown Toronto from May 8-10. We encourage the public and media to visit the express and join the discussion about tax fairness, good jobs, public services and labour rights.
