HALIFAX, Dec. 7, 2017 /CNW/ - Spencer Fraser, Chief Executive Officer of Federal Fleet Services will open the organization's Halifax Operations Centre.
The operations centre will facilitate the day-to-day work of the MV ASTERIX, a Resolve Class Naval Support Ship leased to the Royal Canadian Navy. The MV ASTERIX will provide the navy with fuel, cargo, ammunition, a floating hospital, a platform for two helicopters and quarters for humanitarian and rescue operations.
