OTTAWA, June 27, 2018 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will hold a press conference with Alberta's Minister of Environment and Parks and the Minister Responsible for the Climate Change Office, Shannon Phillips, following a meeting with provincial and territorial environment ministers to discuss parks, protected areas, conservation, wildlife, and biodiversity in Canada.
Ministers will attend workshops with a focus on collaborative efforts and future steps regarding the Pathway to Canada Target 1, the conservation of species at risk, the development of a plan for achieving 2020 biodiversity goals and targets, and wildlife health.
