July 7, 2018 from noon to 9 pm and July 8 from 1 pm to 7 pm
MONTREAL, July 4, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - A happy two-day annual event for the entire family will take place this summer on St. Laurent Street at the corner of Milton to Jeanne Mance Park in the form of an Indian carnival parade around 12:00 on July 7.
During the parade, several Indian communities in Montreal will present their music and dance, and the parade will be followed by a trolley named India Ratha Yatra - a huge 40-foot chariot will be pulled by the participants in the middle of Indian songs and dances. All are cordially invited to join this parade. The festivities will continue for two days at Jeanne-Mance Park. Participants will be able to learn while having fun through the many kiosks of the park during the two days of the festival: dramatic musical performances - dramatic dance performances - a South Asian souvenir corner - make-up - dance and yoga workshops and even a Playful and educational space will be organized for children. (ADMISSION AND FREE VEGETARIAN MEAL DURING THE EVENT). Several non-profit organizations and associations registered in Quebec to create and promote traditional culture in India made this event possible. We all believe that India has many gifts to share with the world through its millennial culture, one of the oldest on the planet. Thus, thanks to this precious festival, we hope to offer a platform for a rich multicultural exchange that will contribute to bringing more unity of social coherence between the different cultural communities and Montreal citizen
Come all in great numbers a unique family summer party with a good mood and a happy mystery
