Media Advisory - Final days of action at the BC Poker Championships - River
Rock Casino Resort - Nov. 21-22

RICHMOND , BC, Nov. 21 /CNW/ - All media is invited to come and check-out the final action at the fifth annual BC Poker Championships as there are only a few tables left and a handful of players fighting for the first place prize worth $364,364 .

A number of local poker players are still in the game along with Liz Lieu . Lieu was honored by the WSOP and ESPN as a "Final Table Grand Marshall" along with Johnny Chan in 2006. Since 2008, Lieu has earned over $690,000 in live tournament play.

Some of the other international poker stars such as Lacey Jones , Maria Ho , Tiffany Michelle , Gavin Smith , Brad "Yukon" Booth and Greg 'FBT' Mueller did not succeed in their quest to get to the final table but they are currently on-site and cheering on the remaining players.

The estimated prize pool for this year's BC Poker Championships is $2.5 million . The River Rock Casino Resort is hosting the tournament in partnership with PlayNow.com.
