What: | PAFSO is announcing more pickets in its 11th week of job action as well as the withdrawal of more FS officers in several international locations as part of their escalated efforts to obtain equal pay from the Government of Canada in contract negotiations. |

Why: | The main issue is PAFSO's request for equal pay for equal work. Specifically, the union is seeking wage adjustments to keep Foreign Service officer pay in line with comparable occupational groups in the federal government. |
