Media advisory - Forest industry to announce first winner of Skills Award for Indigenous Youth Français
VANCOUVER, Sept. 24, 2012 /CNW/ - The Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) will present the first annual Skills Award for Indigenous Youth during National Forest Week, Tuesday, September 25th at the University of British Columbia.
The $2,500 award is being presented in recognition of highly significant research that shows the exciting bio-potential of the forest products industry and the changing face of the sector. It also reflects the desire of the forest sector to hire more Indigenous people to its workforce.
