Canada Post celebrates its sixth Canada 150 stamp unveiling at City Hall in St. John's
ST. JOHN'S, May 19, 2017 /CNW/ - Canada Post will unveil the sixth of 10 special Canada 150 commemorative stamps honouring one of the most identifiable and cherished events in Canadian history.
The stamp will celebrate an achievement that inspired Canadians, captivated a country, and launched a lasting legacy across Canada and around the world.

Each of the 10 stamps will be unveiled at separate events being held across the country until June 1. As part of Canada Post's iconic national stamp program, each one commemorates a Canadian achievement, milestone or unforgettable moment from the past 50 years.
Canada Post has previously unveiled Expo 67, the patriation of the Constitution and creation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Canadarm, Marriage Equality and the Trans-Canada Highway as the first five celebratory moments of 10 in its Canada 150 program.
