Fraud Prevention Month Launched at the Maison du développement durable in Montreal
OTTAWA, Feb. 26, 2018 /CNW/ - On March 1, 2018, the Competition Bureau will join Option consommateurs, the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and the Sûreté du Québec in Montreal to launch the 14th edition of Fraud Prevention Month. The event will feature a panel discussion on common frauds and will be streamed live on Option consommateurs' Facebook page.
Fraud Prevention month is an awareness campaign that gives Canadians the information they need to recognize, reject and report scams.
Media and the public are invited to attend the event.
