YWCA Canada's Rose Campaign will Light the Night against violence at venues across the country to call attention to the need for real change on violence against women, including the government's promised a national action plan and national inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. 2015 marks 26 years since the murders of women at L'École Polytechnique on December 6, 1989. Iconic buildings and monuments will be lit in red to draw attention to the need for action on violence against women and girls. |

All venues will be lit at sunset, local time, December 6, 2015. Check local site sponsors for additional times and local events. Some venues began their lighting on November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. |
